Wasambazie eCards ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Wasambazie eCards platform (the "Service"), which enables event organisers to create, manage and send digital invitations via SMS and WhatsApp. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use our Service.

When you register we collect your name, email address, and phone number. This information is used to create and manage your account.
To provide the Service you may enter event details (title, date, venue, names of people of honour) and guest information (full name, phone number, number of allowed entries). This data is stored securely and used solely to generate and deliver invitations on your behalf.
We store the message templates you create and the rendered invitation messages sent to guests. This allows us to track delivery status and re-send when needed.
We log message delivery status (queued, sent, delivered, failed) received from our SMS and WhatsApp providers. We also collect standard server logs including IP addresses, timestamps, and browser user-agent strings for security and debugging purposes.
When a guest checks in at an event using the QR code scanner, we record the check-in timestamp and the number of entries used.
We do not sell your personal data or your guests' personal data to third parties. We do not use it for advertising.

We retain your account and event data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Guest phone numbers and check-in records are retained for the duration of the event and may be deleted on request.
We implement industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed credentials, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we will notify you promptly if we become aware of a data breach affecting your information.

Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.
